Call for Video Art Submissions
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
This September the Goldie Mill Ruins will be host to a night of Video Art showcasing a selection of short films from Guelph’s finest local artists.
THEME
The theme of the video works should reflect current environmental/sociological tensions brought about by the conflicting interests of modern progress and environmental sustainability. Artists are encouraged to be creative in their interpretation of the theme, and create works that explore the more abstract and subtle meaning and consequences of the interaction between any or all of: individuals, society, nature and economic development.
Selection and submission guidelines
Selection will be made by a committee of judges. The judges will select from works by University of Guelph students as well as alumni and new submission by local artists like you!
Submission guidelines
Submission should be in NTSC video format. Send MPEG4 data DVD’s or miniDV tape to Nathan Saliwonchyk no later than August 20th. The video’s should be no longer than 5 minutes.
